CRU attended LME Asia Week in Hong Kong over 24–28 June, meeting with market participants from across the sector. Overall, sentiment towards current demand and the near-term outlook was downbeat. Concerns centred around refined supply outpacing demand and risks to the outlook for Chinese demand over the balance of this year.
