Yiwei Yin

Yiwei joined the CRU in September 2023 as a senior analyst.

Prior to joining CRU, Yiwei worked as a cost and sustainability analyst in Roksill, which has been acquired by Wood Mackenzie later. His experiences covered the battery raw material metals (Li, Co and graphite) and Steel Alloy (Ferrochrome) cost. Yiwei currently covers the base and battery metal cost, primarily focus on the Lead, Zinc and Lithium at CRU.

Yiwei holds both Honours Bachelor of Sciences (HBSc) in Geology and Master of Sciences in ore genesis experimental geochemistry from University of Toronto.
