Lars Taarland

Lars has been working for CRU as a freelance consultant since 2001, devoting most of his time to the company from 2006.

Lars covers Urea markets for Fertilizer Week, as well as contributing to other Nitrogen coverage.

Lars holds a degree in International Marketing from the Oslo School of Management, supplemented with Management studies in Boston, USA. He started his career in the fertilizer industry with Norsk Hydro (Yara ASA) in the early 1970s and worked with numerous international trading companies ahead of his assignments with CRU.
