Chetan Soni

Chetan is responsible for CRU's European steel long products analysis. He joined CRU in 2021 and is based in our London office. His analytics focuses on supply, demand, trade and price forecasts for the European longs market.

Chetan also has experience in covering the European steel market as a Pricing Analyst with CRU, where he was responsible for data provision, price discovery and product development.

Prior to joining CRU, Chetan worked in the diamond trade and was responsible for the procurement of melee diamonds, corporate-social-responsibility (CSR) and handling of third-party audits.

Chetan holds an MSc in Exploration Geology from the Camborne School of Mines.
