Victor rejoined CRU Consulting in 2016 following an absence of 18 months.
Based in CRU's London office, Victor has acted as Senior Consultant and participated in various projects around the benchmarking of capital and operating expenditures of copper mines, and the analysis of the global nickel industry and associated “government take”, among others. He has also been engaged in multi-commodity consultancy assignments covering Iron Ore, Copper, Fertilizers and Precious Metals.
Prior to rejoining CRU after a short break, Victor worked as Global Marketing Director at Interpipe, an integrated Ukrainian steel manufacturer, where he provided regular advice to the company’s management board about commercial strategy and market conditions in the steel industry, with specific focus on the tubes and pipes segments.
Victor started his professional career at Tenaris, a global oilfield services company, where he worked for more than nine years in a wide range of marketing and commercial roles in South America and the Middle East.
Victor holds an MBA at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Catolica Argentina. He speaks fluent English and Spanish, and has conversational Portuguese.
