Ed joined Exawatt in May 2021, and leads its Energy Storage team which utilises techno-economic analysis to understand when and how new technologies will impact current markets especially the lithium and sodium-ion battery markets.

Prior to joining Exawatt/CRU, Ed completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering which focused on characterising the degradation phenomena in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and a MEng in Materials Science and Engineering both from the University of Sheffield.
