Puneet Paliwal

Puneet has over 12 years of experience in the metals and mining industry and joined CRU in April 2014. He is based in India and has worked with CRU's Ferrous and Non-ferrous Analysis teams over the last 9+ years.

Puneet is currently the editor of CRU's Metallics Prices and Steel Plate Forecasting services. He is also responsible for the analysis of metallics, semi-finished and finished steel markets of South Asia.

Puneet's prior experience includes conducting a variety of strategic consulting assignments for leading players in the Indian metals and mining industry as well as international financial institutions.

He holds an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Power Sector Finance and a Post Graduate Certificate in International Trade from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
