Rachel Ong

Rachel joined CRU in August 2024 and currently works as a Consultant in CRU Consulting's London team.

Prior to joining CRU, Rachel spent three years working for Aurora Energy Research based in Oxford, providing power market portfolio and strategy advisory services to electricity generation asset owners and investors based in Great Britain. With a strong interest in the energy transition, her role at CRU will focus on battery materials and applications in the industry.

Rachel has an MSci in Geophysics from Imperial College London, where she completed her thesis on the Life Cycle Assessment of geothermal power generation and carbon capture in Iceland.
