Nicolas Munoz

​​Nicolas joined CRU's Base Metals team as an analyst in July 2023 and is responsible for copper and zinc market analysis, with a focus on copper supply.

Nicolás started his career at Minera Los Pelambres (Antofagasta Minerals) as an intern, where he developed a statistical model to project the fuel consumption of the mining truck fleet. Then, he worked for more than 1 year in a international consulting firm as a underground mining project engineer. In addition, Nicolás worked as a Mining Industry Analyst for almost two years in a local consulting firm, responsible for a copper supply analysis.

Nicolás holds a BSc. in Mining Engineering from the University of Santiago de Chile. He is based in CRU's Santiago office.
