Piyush Goel

Piyush is a Consultant based in the London office. He joined CRU in September 2022 and since then he has worked on several commodities in different sectors including steel, fertilizers, and battery metals.

Some of his recent studies include a market entry strategy for a DRI/HBI producer, market due diligence for a green steel project, pricing approaches for high-purity phosphate inputs into LFP battery production, and market advisory for a mine acquisition.

Piyush completed his MSc in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2022 and is a B.Com (Hons.) graduate from the University of Delhi. Piyush also worked on various hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds at a Big4 as an Assurance Associate before coming to London to pursue his Masters.
