James Griffiths joined CRU in July 2020 as a Research Analyst after graduating from his MSc in Mining Geology at Camborne School of Mines.
James has experience in the field of exploration geology. This experience includes conducting ground penetrating radar surveys in the Kalahari Desert in Botswana to identify potential diamond deposits in alluvial channels and, on another project, investigating coal seam structure and extensiveness for a mine expansion study. James holds a keen interest for the base metals commodity market, particularly the relationship between the advancement in battery technologies and their effect on demand for certain metals. James is based in our London office.
