James joined CRU in January 2022, working first as an intern for the Multi-commodity team before joining the Base Metals Cost and Emissions Team as a Research Analyst for Gold mining Costs in June 2022.
In January 2023 James moved to a new role as an Analyst for the Base Metals' Smelting and Refining Costs and Emissions team. James is responisble for helping create the new Smelting and Refining Cost Models for the Base Metals Cost and Emissions Team, beginning with Copper, and moving onto Zinc and Nickel.
