Claire Ballak is responsible for the Governance and Compliance function of CRU Group.

As the Global Head of Compliance Claire exercises oversight over the global compliance framework and embeds the compliance culture as set by the CRU Executive Committee.

Claire has many years’ experience managing compliance strategies and procedures within complex regulatory environments and has covered a range of physical and financial commodity products. Claire is a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), has a Diploma in Investment Compliance and a LLB (Hons) Law degree.
