Joan Arratia

​Joan joined CRU in June 2023 as Base Metals Emissions Lead and she is responsible for the emissions service including the EAT model.

Previously she worked for over 9 years as a base metals analyst in Wood Mackenzie. The first 3 years as a regional analyst based in Lima, Peru covering gold, zinc and copper mine costs. Then, as a zinc-lead mine cost senior analyst based in London. As part of her MBA she worked in the strategic marketing department in Schneider Electric, in France.

Joan holds a MBA degree from the HEC Paris business school with corporate finance specialisation and a bachelor degree in Economics from the Pacifico University, in Lima.

She is based in CRU’s London office. She is native in Spanish and speaks fluent English and French.
